Special Programs - Michelin
In 1991 the Michelin Sports and Social Club in Waterville, NS partnered with A.P. Reid Insurance Stores to develop a group Home and Auto Program for their members. In 1992, the Michelin Athletic and Social Club in Grant, NS joined the program. The Michelin Sports and Athletic Club in Bridgewater joined in 1994. Since that time, A.P. Reid has been providing the original groups insurance program for all three plants and has continued to insure more members with each passing year. The MSSC/MASC/MSAC Insurance Program is widely regarded among the insurance industry in Canada as one of the most successful group insurance programs in the country - due to the continued support of the membership base. More than 30% of the Michelin employees in Nova Scotia buy their insurance in the MSSC/MASC/MSAC Insurance Program.
